The most aggressive way to safely clean wall to wall carpet and area rugs is by hot water extraction. Hot water extraction is commonly referred to as "steam cleaning" and it is the only method we use. Almost every major carpet mill recommends hot water extraction cleaning to maintain the appearance and warranty of home carpeting. Our truck mounted system flashes 190° rinse water through a cleaning tool at 400psi to loosen soil, greasy particulates, stains and dirt from carpet fibers. In the same cleaning motion, an extremely powerful vacuum pulls away and carries off the dirty solution. Because all machinery remains parked outside only hoses and cleaning tools enter while stains and soil exit the home. A professional hot water extraction cleaning every 12-18 months extends the life of carpeting and can improve overall indoor air quality.
In residences and office space above the fourth floor or where access from outdoors is restricted, the use of professional portable extraction equipment is necessary. Professional portable extractors are designed to emulate the workings of truck-mounted systems. They have high-pressure pumps and multi-stage vacuums that outperform common portable household machines. In an area that just cannot be reached by a truck-mounted system, we use a professional extractor and recommend the same 12-18 month cleaning schedule.
For areas that have been flooded by exterior water entry or interior mechanical (plumbing) failure, our truck mounted extraction system can quickly rid water from finished and unfinished spaces.
